Hello again! Time really flies in between posting! I can't believe it's almost been two months since I updated the blog last! The biggest news since my last post is that our little guy is on the move! Yes, Andrew is officially walking! Just four days after my last post (February 18th), I went out to attend a Spouses Night Out function, and no sooner did I get out of our neighborhood did I get a phone call from a very excited Matt telling me that Andrew took his first steps! (And I missed it!) But alas, he has taken many many many more. He picked up on it and became a walking pro in a very short time.
Here he comes!
He was walking with his arms up like that for balance for a few days, but now he's mastered it enough to carry things when he walks (cups, clothes, blankets, toys, you name it!). He sometimes breaks into a 'run' but still trips sometimes. It's very cute seeing such a little person walking around.

He still hasn't quite figured out how to stand up in the middle of the floor on his own; he will have to crawl over to something and pull himself up. All in due time.
In other news, after seeing Andrew with what I'd describe as a skin condition more than a rash, we took him to the pediatrician only to find our he has eczema. We were given a slew of different topical things to put on him and although sometimes his belly feels a little scaly, it has improved significantly. While we were there, he got weighed, and we were ecstatic to find out Andrew had made his way into the 38th percentile for his weight! He also starting clapping at the beginning of March! I gave him his first haircut mid-March. It was definitely a learning experience!
Andrew did his first Easter Egg hunts last week; one at Matt's work, and one at home. The first one was the one at Matt's work that had lots of other kids; Andrew only got 4 eggs, but we were still quite proud!

The weather here is still cold. In fact, we had two more snow storms here since my last post. Both dropped at least 6inches of snow. This morning it was 35 degrees...yes, you wouldn't know it was April 4th. It's supposed to get up to 57 degrees today and we are REALLY excited. Needless to say, we are really looking forward to more Spring-like weather! Here are some additional photos of Andrew since last post.
For those of you who are real troopers and still reading, in unrelated Andrew news, I just had to share that I successfully "fooled" Matt on April Fool's Day! I always forget that it's April Fool's Day until Matt gets me, but not this year! I was prepared! I had three pranks planned, but only two panned out. Take a look!
