After much self-guilting, I am taking the plunge, and updating the blog. The longer I wait, the more daunting of a task it is! We have had some Winter here in Ohio. We've had [low] temperatures and [high] snowfall accumulations that haven't been seen here for decades. This morning it was -7 degrees...not the windchill, just the regular temperature. My weather app on my phone showed an igloo icon. Very funny! Some nights the windchill has dropped into the -30 range, and our windows have had ice on the INSIDE! This is our second winter here and it definitely was not like this last year! Next week the high is supposed to be 48 degrees and we were thinking of putting on shorts and opening the windows! Needless to say, we are ready for Spring! To pick up on our last update, we had a nice Thanksgiving, just the three of us. Soon after that was Matt's birthday, then my parents arrived to celebrate Christmas, Andrew's birthday, and New Year's with us. We had a wonderful visit with them, as always.
Happy Thanksgiving! (Nevermind Andrew giving a thumbs down...)
Snow day! (One of many...)
My child hates snow! HateD, actually, he now enjoys it. :)

It's hard to believe that our sweet boy is two! He has such a personality! He is generally very happy and we get lots of compliments on what a happy boy he is from strangers who he waves and/or smiles at. I took Andrew to get his first real haircut at a place just for kids. He got to sit in a cool chair and watch Sesame Street while he got his hair cut, but he still was very unsure of it. I have since taken him back and he did a little better, and I'm sure will become more comfortable with it as time goes on. We are still waiting on his two-year molars to come in, but otherwise has all his teeth! He had his first trip to the dentist, which was extremely un-traumatizing, but Andrew would argue otherwise. He got a great report, and we really liked the dentist.
Andrew's first haircut.
Smiling after the dentist gave him goodies.
We took Andrew to the Air Force Museum for his birthday since he loves planes so much.

Looking back on previous blogs it seems like there were all sorts of milestones to update about Andrew, but they seems to scale back as they get older. That or it gets harder for me to remember what happened from one blog update to the next! He sure keeps me on my toes! This is day two in a row he has decided not to take his nap. Fun times! He just loves airplanes and anything with wheels, and dancing. Here's a video with some of his moves (this video is not viewable on mobile devices):
Not much else to report, so I'll leave you with some pictures from the beginning of this year. Love and blessings to all!
