Another month has come and gone in a flash! Where does the time go? My apologies if I say that every time. Andrew just turned 7-months old and he is still the center of our world. We had his Upper GI Anatomy scan and everything was in normal working order, so we are dealing with an immature sphincter muscle in his esophagus for the time being, and therefore LOTS and LOTS of spit-up. We are anxiously awaiting the day he outgrows the spitting up! Luckily it does not bother him and we have a very happy baby boy. He can almost sit up on his own now, and loves to be on his belly. He is SOOOOO close to crawling! It will be any day now! He is much more aware of his surroundings and wants to grab everything and of course put it in his mouth. We pretty much have the sleeping situation to a science, and he no longer fusses when we put him in the crib (a very welcome time for mommy & daddy!). Generally, he is content to be in there and entertain himself until he's ready to fall asleep.
I have been wanting to get Andrew baptized for quite a while now, specifically at my church in Port Orange, Florida. However, figuring out the logistics of that with a 6-7 month old was proving to be a challenge. I have been attending a church here in Ohio that I really like, and we decided with Andrew's Godparents, Jen & John, that we would have him baptized here at my church in Ohio, even though they would be unable to be here. My parents were going to be in town and serve as witnesses in place of Jen & John for the baptism. So on July 29th, 2012, Andrew James Sibiga was baptized by Father Dave at St. Helen Parish in Riverside, Ohio. I had always wanted to have him baptized during the mass, but we opted to do it after mass with just the priest, us, and my parents. It really couldn't have been any better. It was very private and intimate and Father Dave made it really nice for us. Not to mention Andrew was such a good boy the entire time!
Grammy & Pappap Carr are still visiting with us through the end of the weekend and everyone is having a good time!

He's getting so big!!! Love the blog post as always!!! You're showing me up! I am SO behind on mine!!!
