Can you believe he is a month old today? It doesn't hardly seem possible, but at the same time, it's been a challenging time as well. My parents were here with us for a little over 3 weeks, which was the biggest help; laundry, burping, letting us get some much needed sleep, etc. We were so very grateful for their help. After they left, Matt had already started back to work from his paternity leave. I had two days left of the week which were my first days home alone with Andrew, and I was quite terrified. The days went better than I expected, and next thing I knew it was the weekend again, which is always better, since there's two of us. The last couple days have been rough, as I think Andrew is/was going through a growth spurt, and he has been so fussy, wanting to eat all the time, and crying for no apparent reason. Today has been better *knock on wood* and I am trying to learn to be patient as we figure each other out. Once we finally get him to sleep before we go to bed (which can sometimes take hours) he usually only wakes up twice to eat, so we are happy about that. We are looking forward to the next month and the changes and milestones to come!
Here is some video from Andrew's first bath a couple weeks ago!
Reading to Andrew after bathtime.
