A little late ... Andrew's 11-Month Update

I am clearly already experiencing the effects of the crazy month of December only three days in.  I normally do Andrew's monthly blog update on THE day, but it didn't happen this month!  

Andrew is doing great, and enjoying his last month before he turns ONE YEAR OLD!  How is that possible?  Where did our little baby go?  

11-Months Old!

He had a weight check at the beginning of last month, and he weighed 19lbs 2oz, which was the 18th percentile.  Progress!  We won't have a weight check this month until his 12-month Well Baby appointment in January.  Last month he also had his first babysitters, our friends/neighbors Stacey & John.  They watched him for a few hours while Matt and I went out to a movie.  Andrew had a great time and didn't miss us a bit!  

His two bottom teeth are awfully adorable, and no signs of any others at this point.  He is now an expert at pulling himself up and sometimes holds on with only one hand and squats down or bends over to pick something up.  He loves to pull himself up to look out the window.  We have taken him to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood, and while he doesn't know what they are quite yet, he seems fascinated by them and just stares.  He's such a smart little boy; he has figured out how to unlock/turn on my iPhone!  Soon he'll be calling girls!  Ha!  We got him some new toys last month and he is really into them ~ he loves toys with wheels, which he never had an experience with before.  He also has a toy gumball machine toy that you put the balls in at the top and push a lever down to release the balls, and he has mastered that!  He knows where to put the balls in and that pushing the lever makes them come out.  He waves occasionally and babbles a lot saying dada (a lot more than mama!) but we still don't think he associates those words to us yet. 

Andrew also celebrated his first Thanksgiving last month and enjoyed little pieces of our lovely spread.
